1. The agreement
By creating a JenAI account or using JenAI (jenai.dev, our Telegram bot, our phone number, text messages and email), you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy, SMS Terms (if you opt in to texts) and AI Calling Notice. If you don't agree, please don't use JenAI.
2. Who can use JenAI
You must be at least 18, live in the United States, and be able to form a binding contract. You may use JenAI for your own household's personal errands — not to run a business or provide services to others.
3. Calling on your behalf
When you give Jen a task, you authorize JenAI to place phone calls to the businesses you name (or that Jen finds for you, such as plumbers for a quote), to speak with them on your household's behalf about that task, and to share the information the task reasonably needs. On every call, Jen says that it is an AI assistant calling on behalf of your family. Jen never claims to be you, never claims to be a human, and never claims to be a licensed professional.
- You're responsible for the accuracy of what you ask for and the information you give Jen to share.
- Only ask Jen to share information you're entitled to share — for example, details about your own accounts and your own minor children.
- A business may decline to deal with an AI, or require the account holder in person. When that happens Jen will tell you honestly and give you what you need to finish it yourself. That attempt isn't billed.
- Businesses, not JenAI, decide whether to give you an appointment, a price or an offer.
4. Approvals and commitments
Jen will not book anything, agree to a charge, accept an offer or cancel a service without an approval from an adult on your account, except for charges under the auto-approve limit you set (default $25), which you authorize in advance. Approvals are enforced by our servers. When you or the other adult on your account approves something, you're agreeing to that commitment with the business — for example, the appointment, its cancellation policy, or the price. Please read approval cards carefully; they show the exact date, time and amount.
JenAI never pays businesses for you and never signs documents for you. Payments and paperwork stay between you and the business.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use JenAI to:
- call anyone who isn't a business or organization you have a genuine reason to contact, or call anyone to harass, threaten, deceive or pressure them;
- impersonate another person, or get information you aren't entitled to;
- make telemarketing, sales, debt-collection, political or survey calls, or send unsolicited messages;
- break any law, including laws about recording, privacy and consumer protection;
- keep calling a business that has asked not to be called — once a business asks, we will stop calling it;
- interfere with, probe, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or share your account with people outside your household.
We may decline a task, pause calling, or suspend an account to stop misuse.
6. Not for emergencies
JenAI is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call 911. Jen does not call emergency services, and tasks can be delayed by business hours, quiet hours, queues or outages. Don't rely on JenAI for anything time-critical to someone's health or safety. Jen doesn't give medical, legal or financial advice.
7. Your household account
The person who creates the household is its owner. The owner can invite one other adult (for example, a co-parent). Both adults can see the household's tasks, transcripts and approvals, give Jen tasks and approve commitments for the household, under the approval rules you choose. Keep your sign-in secure; you're responsible for activity on your account. The owner can remove the other adult, and only the owner can delete the household.
8. Plans, trial and billing
- Free trial: new households get 3 real completed calls at no cost, with no card required. One trial per phone number.
- Plans: Household is $34/month (or about $29/month billed annually) with 30 completed tasks a month; Household Plus is $59/month with 75. Extra tasks are $1.49 each on Household and $0.99 each on Household Plus.
- What counts as a task: you're charged only for completed tasks. No-answers, busy signals, failed calls, and tasks a business declined are free. A bill negotiation (both calls and its follow-up) counts as one task. School-inbox processing and bill check-ins are never counted.
- Payment: subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until you cancel and are charged to your payment method through our payment processor. Overage is billed at the end of each period.
- Cancelling: cancel any time from Settings → Billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable — but if something went wrong, email us and we'll make it right where we can.
- Price changes: we'll give you at least 30 days' notice before a price change takes effect for your plan.
- Referrals: “Give 3, get 3” bonus tasks have no cash value and may be withdrawn if obtained through abuse.
9. Bill negotiation
When you ask Jen to lower or cancel a bill, Jen calls the provider, collects the offers and brings them to you; it never accepts anything on that first call. Jen then accepts only the exact offer an adult approves. If the provider changes the terms, Jen won't accept and will ask you again. We can't guarantee any savings, and you remain the provider's customer, responsible for your account and any contract you approve. About 35 days later we'll ask whether your bill changed; if it didn't, Jen will follow up.
10. School inbox
Forward only school-related mail to your household's school address. Jen reads it to create calendar entries, reminders and to-dos. Jen never replies to the school, never follows links and never pays fees. Automated reading can make mistakes — please check important dates against the original message.
11. Your content
You own the information you give JenAI. You give us permission to use it only to provide and support the service for your household, as described in the Privacy Policy. We don't use it to train AI models. You can download or delete it at any time.
12. Disclaimers
We work hard to make Jen accurate, polite and reliable, but JenAI is provided “as is” and “as available”. AI can misunderstand, businesses can give wrong information, and calls can fail. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we don't promise that any particular call will succeed.
13. Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Agentic Services LLC won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, and our total liability for any claim about JenAI is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. You agree to cover our reasonable losses if a claim against us arises from your breaking these terms or the law while using JenAI.
14. Ending the agreement
You can stop using JenAI and delete your household at any time from Settings. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we need to stop offering JenAI; if we end the service for reasons other than your breach, we'll refund any prepaid amount for the unused period. Sections that by their nature should survive (like ownership, disclaimers and limits on liability) survive.
15. Disputes and changes
If you have a problem, email help@jenai.dev first — most things can be fixed quickly. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Either of us may bring a claim in small-claims court; otherwise, disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, and both of us consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer-protection laws where you live.
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we'll tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use JenAI after that means you accept the updated terms.
