Using JenAI
Text it in plain English on Telegram (or by SMS if you opted in), call the JenAI number, or type into “Ask Jen” on your dashboard. For example: “Book Kira a haircut Saturday morning.” Jen will ask if it needs anything else.
During setup — or any time in Settings → Channels — tap “Connect Telegram”. It opens a chat with the JenAI bot with a one-time code; press Start and you're linked. Each adult links their own Telegram.
Before Jen books something or agrees to a charge over your auto-approve limit (default $25), it sends an approval card to the adults on your account. One tap approves. You can choose who gets asked, and require both of you for bigger spends, in Settings → Approvals.
Reply STOP to any JenAI text to stop all texts, or HELP for help. Reply START to resubscribe. You can also turn texts on or off in Settings → Channels.
Go to Settings → Members → “Invite your co-parent” and enter their email. They'll get a link to join your household, and from then on you both see the same feed.
Settings → Billing → Manage billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
Settings → Privacy. “Download our data” gives you a file with your household's records and transcripts. “Delete household” permanently deletes everything, including recordings, and signs everyone out.
Email help@jenai.dev with the phone number and we'll mark it do-not-call for every household. Businesses can also just tell Jen during a call.
About JenAI
Mostly, yes. Jen is polite, quick, and says up front that it's an AI assistant calling for your family. Most offices treat it like any caller. If a business declines, Jen thanks them, tells you honestly, and the attempt doesn't count against your plan.
Jen can't book anything or spend a dollar over your limit without your one-tap approval — that's enforced by our servers, not just good intentions. And every call has a full transcript, so you can always see exactly what was said.
Yes. Jen always discloses it's an AI, uses a synthetic voice (never a clone of a real person), never impersonates you, and announces recording where required. We built the compliance in from day one.
Never. Jen only calls the businesses you ask it to, about the things you asked for. If a business asks not to be called, we never call them again.
Nothing. You text Jen or call it. There's a web dashboard for transcripts and settings when you want it.
Yes — JenAI is per household. You both see everything Jen is doing, and either of you can approve with one tap. For bigger spends, you can require both of you to approve.
Jen shares only what a call needs (like a first name and an appointment window), transcripts live in your private dashboard, and recordings auto-delete after 90 days. We never train AI models on your data and never build profiles of people who didn't sign up. You can export or delete everything anytime.
Often, yes. Jen calls the retention line, collects the offers and brings them to you. It never accepts anything on that first call: you pick the offer, Jen calls back to lock it in, and 35 days later we check that your bill actually changed.
Your household gets a private forwarding address. Forward school emails (or send Jen a photo of a flyer) and Jen turns them into calendar entries, reminders and to-dos. Jen never replies to the school and never pays anything. Raw emails are deleted after 30 days.
You'll get a note when you're on your last one. If you love it, plans start at $34/month. If not, you've lost nothing — there's no card on file.
