The short version
- We collect what Jen needs to run your errands: your account details, the people in your household you choose to add, the businesses you ask Jen to call, and the calls and messages that result.
- We never train AI models on your data. The AI providers we use process it under terms that forbid training on it.
- We never build profiles of people who didn't sign up. Contacts are business contact cards only. Children are stored with only the few details a parent types in.
- We don't sell your information, share it for advertising, or show you ads.
- Jen shares only what a call needs — like a first name and an appointment window — with the business it calls.
- Call recordings are deleted after 90 days. Raw school emails are deleted after 30 days.
- You can download all of your household's data, or delete all of it, from Settings at any time.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: your name, email address and mobile phone number, used to sign in and to verify you. Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider.
- Household details: your family's last name (Jen uses it to introduce itself on calls), your time zone, and the household members you choose to add. For a child, that's a first name and, only if you add them, a birthday, school, grade, teacher and notes you type. For a co-parent you invite, their name, email and the channels they link.
- Requests and tasks: what you ask Jen to do (“move Leo's cleaning to next week”), the details needed to do it, and the results.
- Business contacts: the names, phone numbers and addresses of businesses you want Jen to call (your dentist, your child's school, a plumber), plus any account or patient reference you choose to store for verification.
- Bills (if you use bill negotiation): provider, category, phone number, monthly amount, contract end date, the account holder, an account reference and an optional hint about how the provider verifies you. We never ask for a Social Security number, a full card number or a password.
- School inbox (if you use it): emails you forward to your household's private address, and photos or PDFs of flyers you send or upload, along with the items Jen extracts from them (events, deadlines, to-dos).
- Messages: what you send to and receive from Jen on Telegram, by text message, by email or in the dashboard.
- Support: anything you tell us when you contact help@jenai.dev.
Information created when Jen works for you
- Call records: who was called, when, for how long, and the outcome.
- Transcripts: a written record of each call, so you can see exactly what was said.
- Recordings: audio of a call, only when call recording is turned on for your household. When it is, the people on the call hear a recording notice at the start.
- Approvals: which adult approved or declined what, and when.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data: pages visited, buttons clicked, browser type and approximate location derived from IP address, used to keep the service working and to understand which parts are useful. We use a product-analytics tool for this; it is not used for advertising.
- Consent records: when you opt in to text messages, we store the time, your IP address and the version of the disclosure you agreed to, as proof of your consent.
Payment information
Payments are processed by our payment provider. We receive your plan, billing status and the last four digits of your card; we never see or store your full card number.
Demo calls
If you ask for a demo call on our website, we store the phone number you entered, the time and your IP address so we can place that one call and prevent abuse. We don't use that number for anything else unless you sign up.
How we use it
- To run the errands you ask for: placing calls, gathering options, asking you before anything is booked or paid for, and reporting back.
- To keep your household in sync: showing both adults the same feed, routing approvals and hand-offs.
- To add bookings and school events to your calendar when you've connected one and turned that on.
- To send you the notifications you chose — on Telegram, by text or by email.
- To bill you, prevent fraud and abuse (for example, one free trial per phone number), and enforce our Terms.
- To check that every call followed our honest-call guarantee, investigate problems, and improve the service using aggregated, de-identified statistics.
- To meet legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
What we never do
- No training on your data. We don't use your conversations, calls, transcripts, recordings, emails or documents to train AI models, and our AI providers process them under zero-retention or no-training terms.
- No profiles of non-users. We don't collect, infer or build profiles about people who haven't signed up — not the receptionist Jen talks to, not your children's teachers, not your neighbors. Contacts are business contact cards, and children's records hold only what a parent typed.
- No selling or advertising. We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- No browsing on your behalf. Jen works by phone, message and email. It doesn't log in to your accounts or drive websites as you.
- No hidden humans. No person at JenAI places, joins or listens to your calls as they happen. Our staff may review a transcript only when you ask for help or to investigate a problem or a safety or legal issue, and every such access is logged.
Who we share it with
We share information only as needed to run JenAI:
- The businesses Jen calls hear what the call needs: your family name, the request, and — only if the business asks to verify — details like a date of birth or account reference you stored.
- Your household: the other adult on your account sees the household feed, tasks, transcripts and approvals.
- Service providers who process data for us under contracts that limit their use of it: cloud database and hosting; account sign-in; voice calling and speech technology; telephone and text-message carriers and aggregators; Telegram (if you link it); email delivery; AI language-model processing for understanding requests and reading school emails; payments; calendar (Google, only if you connect it); and product analytics.
- Legal and safety: when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our users, the public or us.
- Business transfers: if Agentic Services LLC is involved in a merger or sale, this policy will continue to apply to your information, and we'll tell you before it's covered by a different one.
Text messages (SMS)
SMS. If you opt in to text messages, we use your mobile number only to send the JenAI messages you asked for. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except for aggregators and providers of the text message services.
Texting is optional and requires your separate opt-in. Reply STOP to any message to stop, or HELP for help. See our SMS Terms for details.
How long we keep it
| Information | How long |
|---|---|
| Call recordings (only if recording is on) | Deleted automatically after 90 days |
| Raw school emails and attachments | Deleted automatically after 30 days; the extracted items stay until you delete them |
| Demo-call requests | 30 days, then deleted or de-identified, unless you sign up |
| Tasks, transcripts, contacts, bills and household details | For as long as your household account exists, or until you delete them |
| SMS consent and opt-out records | As long as needed to prove consent and honor opt-outs, as carrier rules require |
| Billing records | As long as tax and accounting law requires |
When you delete your household, we delete its records and recordings within minutes and remove them from backups within 30 days.
Your choices and rights
- Download your data: Settings → Privacy → “Download our data” gives you a file with all of your household's records and transcript text.
- Delete everything: Settings → Privacy → “Delete household” permanently deletes your household, its records and recordings, and signs everyone out.
- Correct things: edit household members, contacts and bills in the dashboard at any time.
- Recording: turn call recording on or off in Settings → Voice.
- Texts: reply STOP, or turn texts off in Settings → Channels.
- Calendar: disconnect Google Calendar in Settings → Calendar.
Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct or delete it, and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. We don't sell or “share” personal information as those laws define it. To make a request, use the Settings tools above or email help@jenai.dev; we'll verify that the request comes from the account holder and respond within the time the law requires. You may use an authorized agent.
Children
JenAI accounts are for adults 18 and over. Children can be household members so Jen knows who an appointment is for, but they don't use JenAI and don't talk to it: if a child answers a call, Jen asks for an adult. We store only the details a parent enters about a child. We don't knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13; if you believe we have, email us and we'll delete it.
Security
We encrypt data in transit and at rest, limit staff access to what's needed, log access to transcripts and recordings, and verify every webhook that reaches our systems. Sensitive fields like account references are masked in the dashboard. No system is perfectly secure, so if we ever learn of a breach that affects your information, we'll notify you as the law requires. JenAI is offered in the United States, and your information is stored and processed in the United States.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll tell you by email or in the app before the change takes effect, and we'll update the date at the top. Questions or requests: help@jenai.dev.
